  Christmas in January
Heroes For Kids Foundation
   
  On January 25th, 2004, the Heroes for Kids
Foundation of Canada, along with Father Brad
McGovern from St-Mary’s Parish, brought presents
and the joy of Christmas to William Campos, 13,
Jennifer Paloma, 10, and Sophia Campos,
twenty-one months, in Greenfield Park, Quebec.
Immigrating from Mexico only four months earlier, the
Campos family warmed the hearts of the Heroes for
Kids Foundation with their hospitality and invitation to
try a home made Mexican specialty, “Pozol,” despite their
struggle to make a home in Canada. The Heroes for Kids
Foundation was delighted to welcome the Campos family to
Quebec and help to make them all feel more at home in Canada.
