Our Mission

The Heroes for Kids Foundation is dedicated to improving the hospital environment for children
across Canada, by researching the use of therapeutic designs and new technologies and
implementing its findings within designated hospital areas. These areas can then provide
therapeutic benefits to all sick children being hospitalized and prove useful to medical specialists
in calming a child before and after treatment, stimulating positive energy and imagination, restoring
optimism and reinforcing the determination to heal.

Our Values
People First We believe the potential of our foundation to make a difference in the lives of children has no limits and is driven by the support of our community, board members, employees, interns and volunteers. We are committed to a cause and a work environment that attracts, motivates and recognizes high involvement.
Team Work Teams are the vehicles for our ideas and developments. Every team member has the potential to influence the group. When we energize and inspire each other, teamwork becomes the foundation for an effective, successful and fun environment.
Innovation and Creativity We are dedicated to introducing new and original designs and furniture to hospital play areas in order to provide children with comfortable surroundings where they feel safe within the hospital environment. All creative ideas and innovative designs are welcome. We encourage everyone in the community to participate in design development.
	Management by Goals We strive to meet the various needs of hospitalized children by modeling our goals after the needs specified by hospitals. We are determined to maintain a close collaborative partnership with medical professionals in order to better provide an environment that enables children to truly feel safe and have fun.
