WHO WE ARE

Heroes for Kids is a community based childrens empowerment and educational program that is a collaborative initiative brought to you by TEAM X-T.R.E.M.E. and Semper Fidelis Health & Wellness.

OUR MISSION
At HEROES for KIDS, we are dedicated to empowering, motivating America's next generation through the life lessons of our nation's Wounded Warriors HEROES and educating them through Integrative Health & Wellness Solutions.

OUR CULTURE
Each event is full circle model starts with an Empowerment & Motivation session delivered by a Wounded Warrior Hero. We then solidfy this experience by introducing Integrative Health & Wellness Solutions. There is not a more unique approach to improved wellness anywhere in the US. Our programs produce RESULTS. Central to our vision of is a focus on the pursuit rather than simple avoidance. While most programs lean toward “losing”  weight or “stopping” smoking, stressful habits or bad nutritional choices, we take the opposite approach. Our Coaches work with each each child to focus on positive goals, knowing that as those goals are pursued, the negatives will naturally diminish. We also have a strong belief that as our wellness improves, our ability to "DO WELL" is also enhanced.

Integrative Health & Wellness Solutions are a combination of art and science that help those we serve discover, achieve, and maintain an optimum state of wellness. We are currently experiencing a child obesity epedemic. Unhealthy lifestyles are the major cause of illness and death in our country and an enormous burden to society. We provide programs and education that help to recognize and prevent chronic illness in addition to providing avenues to change unhealthy behaviors. We strive to make a positive impact on the health and lives of America's next generation
